Description:
The Sr. Fullstack (Java/Angular) Developer will design, program, and test software while fostering a shared sense of direction within the team.
Responsibilities include authoring and maintaining relevant documentation for developers, clients, and users to encourage innovation.
The developer will develop and refine prototypes to confirm requirements and program according to project plans, seeking innovative solutions.
Testing will be conducted according to predetermined test plans, and the developer will drive release and post-release activities, including support, versioning, and maintenance.
Collaboration with designers is essential to create interfaces that conform to design guidelines.
The role involves building out mobile APIs and web applications for mobile and browser clients.
Peer review of team members’ code is expected, along with mentoring and teaching other team members.
The developer will support sales and project managers with technical insights to aid in creating budgets and schedules for projects.
The position requires applying wisdom and knowledge to resolve issues and challenges while seeking new innovative solutions.
Attendance and contribution to practice code/development meetings are required.
The developer will write and maintain code on both internal (product) and external (client) projects.
Collaboration with the QA team on bug fixes and building reusable code and libraries for future use is also part of the role.
Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years of delivering software is required.
A B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience is necessary.
Experience with Java and Angular is essential.
Proficiency in designing and architecting software, including interactions with hardware, databases, browsers, file systems, and various infrastructure types is required.
A strong grasp of design's impact on comprehensibility, maintainability, performance, and availability in software development is needed, along with the ability to teach others.
Candidates should have stories that express their beliefs about best practices for systematic and disciplined approaches to software development, including requirements gathering, software design, testing, debugging, and maintenance.
Deep expertise in writing, analyzing, and debugging code in various programming languages is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving skills, including a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, are required.
A sound understanding of computer networks, protocols, network security, and internet data transmission is essential.
A rigorous approach to achieving software privacy and security, including secure coding practices, threat avoidance, and threat mitigation is required.
Procedural knowledge for leveraging parallel and distributed computing is necessary.
Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and technologies is expected.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to share insights and expectations with stakeholders, clients, team members, and various levels of management across multiple time zones, are required.
An ethical, pragmatic approach to computation theory, considering automation, human involvement, and ethical boundaries is essential.
