Description:
The Senior Healthcare Data Analyst at Integrity Management Services, Inc. will be responsible for maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive information, adhering to privacy and security protocols, and ensuring compliance with training requirements.
The role involves building models and conducting analytics to contribute to Medicare and Medicaid fraud detection efforts by identifying anomalies and outliers in healthcare data.
The Senior Data Analyst will use tools like Python, R, SQL, SAS, and Databricks to manipulate and extract Medicare, Medicaid, and other healthcare claims data stored in the Cloud environment.
Continuous learning of Medicare and Medicaid policy changes, providing subject matter expertise to Statistical and Data Analysts, and participating in team projects and testing sprints are key responsibilities.
Effective communication with technical and non-technical users, staying informed about industry changes, and exercising discretion and independent judgment are also part of the role.
Requirements:
Minimum 4-year degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field OR a minimum of 6 years of data analysis experience in the healthcare industry.
6 years of professional experience working with large and complex data sets.
Minimum of 3 years of data analysis experience in the healthcare industry.
Advanced knowledge of analytic, mathematical, and statistical methods.
Experience with Medicare and Medicaid claims, ICD10 codes, HCPCS, DRG, and merging disparate datasets.
Proficiency in SAS/SQL, Python/PySpark, Snowflake, R, Databricks CMS cloud environments, and Microsoft Office products.
Ability to respond to tasks in a timely manner, adapt to change, work collaboratively, and pass a public trust background check.
