Description:
The Senior Healthcare Data Analyst at Integrity Management Services, Inc. will be responsible for maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive information, adhering to privacy and security protocols, and ensuring compliance with training requirements.
They will build models and conduct analytics to contribute to Medicare and Medicaid fraud detection efforts, identify anomalies in healthcare data, and build complex models using technologies like Python, R, SQL, and SAS.
The role involves manipulating and extracting healthcare claims data, developing targeted analyses, continuously learning Medicare and Medicaid policy changes, and providing subject matter expertise to Statistical and Data Analysts.
The Senior Data Analyst will communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users, lead team projects, stay informed about industry changes, and exercise discretion and judgment in company policies and practices.
Requirements:
Minimum 4-year degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field OR a minimum of 6 years of data analysis experience in the healthcare industry.
6 years of professional experience working with large and complex data sets.
Minimum of 3 years of data analysis experience in the healthcare industry.
Advanced knowledge of analytic, mathematical, and statistical methods.
Experience with Medicare and Medicaid claims, ICD10 codes, HCPCS, DRG, and merging disparate datasets.
Proficiency in project software like SAS/SQL, Python/PySpark, Snowflake, R, Databricks CMS cloud environments, and Microsoft Office products.
Ability to respond to tasks in a cooperative and timely manner, adapt to change, work collaboratively, and pass a public trust background check.
