Description:
The role involves building cutting-edge technology using the latest advances in deep learning and machine learning to personalize Pinterest.
You will partner closely with teams across Pinterest to experiment and improve machine learning models for various product surfaces, including Homefeed, Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search.
The position requires using data-driven methods and leveraging the unique properties of Pinterest's data to enhance Pinterest Ads Retrieval.
You will work in a high-impact environment that emphasizes quick experimentation and product launches.
Keeping up with industry trends in recommendation systems is a key responsibility.

Requirements:
A PhD, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative discipline is required, OR a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in the same fields along with three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related field.
Special skills required include: (1) Recommender systems; (2) Machine Learning; (3) Deep Neural Network; (4) Natural language processing; (5) Statistical Analysis; (6) Data Visualization; (7) Python; (8) Java; (9) Big data processing; (10) A/B testing; (11) Reinforcement learning.
Special skills may be gained through academic coursework, scholastic achievement, or professional experience.

Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from $230,000.00 to $292,128.00 per annum, along with standard company benefits.
The position is also eligible for equity.
Final salary is based on various factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.
