Remote Sr. Machine Learning Engineer

Description:

• Pinterest is seeking a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer to build cutting-edge technology using the latest advances in deep learning and machine learning to personalize the platform.
• The role involves partnering closely with teams across Pinterest to experiment and improve machine learning models for various product surfaces, including Homefeed, Related Pins, Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search.
• The engineer will utilize data-driven methods and leverage the unique properties of Pinterest's data to enhance candidate retrieval and ranking.
• The position requires working in a high-impact environment with quick experimentation and product launches.
• Keeping up with industry trends in recommendation systems is also a key responsibility.
• Telecommuting is permitted.

Requirements:

• A Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a closely related quantitative discipline, along with two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any related field, OR a Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a closely related quantitative discipline, with five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any related field.
• Special skills required include proficiency in PyTorch, Spark, Hadoop, Scikit-Learn, Natural Language Processing, Recommender Systems, Search Ranking, Graph Representation, Data Processing pipelines, and Kubernetes.
• Any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience is acceptable.

Benefits:

• The salary range for this position is $235,000.00 - $292,128.00 per annum, with eligibility for equity.
