Remote Sr MEAN Stack Developer

Description:

• The Sr MEAN Stack Developer position at ENO8 is a remote, contracted role for an experienced individual.
• The role involves leading the development of efficient and scalable web applications using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) and AWS services.
• As the sole developer on the project, you will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to testing, development, and support.
• Key responsibilities include designing and building full-stack applications, focusing on backend development with Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB, and managing data modeling and database integration with MongoDB.
• You will also be expected to develop frontend interfaces using Angular, architect and implement efficient AWS solutions, conduct code reviews, embrace test-driven development, and collaborate with clients to understand business requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a developer working on live production software.
• At least 4 years of experience with AWS services and solutions.
• 4+ years of experience working with the MEAN stack.
• Strong backend development skills in Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Docker.
• Demonstrated experience with core AWS services like ECS (Fargate), VPC, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, WAF, ECR, IAM, and AWS Certificate Manager.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Effective English communication skills and experience in client-facing roles.
• Ability to work with a partial overlap with the US Central Time Zone (up to 10 am or 11 am daily).
• Preferred skills include experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools and setting up CI/CD pipelines.
