Remote Sr. Mobile Developer (Contract)

Description:

• WISEcode is a well-funded, dynamic startup focused on personalized nutrition based on factual food data and individual preferences.
• As a Sr. Mobile Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Flutter, React Native, Ionic, or comparable frameworks.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers, to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable codebases for mobile applications.
• You will participate in the entire application lifecycle, including concept, design, build, deploy, test, release, and support phases.
• The role involves integrating backend services and APIs (REST & GraphQL) into mobile applications for optimal performance.
• You will troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance, responsiveness, and stability.
• Collaborating with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and designs into responsive user interfaces is essential.
• Staying updated with the latest mobile development trends and contributing to code reviews and knowledge sharing is expected.
• You will build and evolve the mobile application with customer-oriented practices like feature flags and A/B experiments.
• Strong knowledge of client development for Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) APIs and experience with GraphQL is required.
• Experience with client-side performance enhancement techniques and disconnected client-side data storage is necessary.
• You will work closely with product managers to understand project requirements and deliver timely solutions.
• Collaboration with QA engineers to ensure comprehensive testing and validation of mobile applications is part of the role.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
• Proven experience in mobile app development using Flutter, React Native, Ionic, or similar technologies is necessary.
• A strong understanding of mobile application architecture, design principles, and cross-platform/device best practices is essential.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Dart (Flutter) or JavaScript/TypeScript (React Native or Ionic) is required.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and branching flows like Gitflow is necessary.
• A solid understanding of asynchronous programming and state management is required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward technical challenges are essential.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes is a plus.
• A sense of urgency and the ability to go to market successfully within tight deadlines is important.
