The Sr. Mobile Engineer will be part of the Illuminate Squad, which aims to empower real estate agents and buyers in their home search.
The team has launched Presence Copilot, a personal assistant for agents, and is focused on enhancing the experience of agents using their white label solution.
Key responsibilities include designing, building, testing, and deploying React Native mobile applications, developing new user-facing mobile features, and optimizing applications for speed and scalability.
The engineer will also conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and participate in squad ceremonies and team events.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience with React Native, with a strong emphasis on Android Development.
Experience bridging iOS and Android native layers is required.
Candidates should have experience debugging and fixing issues on Android devices using Expo or Native tooling.
Experience bridging native code (Java/Kotlin for Android and Swift/Obj-C for iOS) within React Native is necessary.
Candidates must have experience integrating with 3rd party APIs, external frameworks, and libraries.
Understanding and implementation of cloud-native architectures (AWS serverless or containers preferred) at scale in production environments is required.
Candidates should embrace Agile Scrum software development concepts and related collaboration and issue tracking tools (e.g., Freshworks, JIRA, Rally).
Experience working in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CICD) model, including Github and CI pipeline automation tools, is necessary.
Proven success working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) is required.
Familiarity with Play Store publishing, device fragmentation, and backward compatibility strategies is essential.
