• As a Senior .NET Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure APIs.

• Key responsibilities include leading the design and development of complex software solutions using the .NET 8.0 framework, gathering and analyzing requirements, providing technical leadership, ensuring code quality, and staying current with industry trends.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5-7 years of experience writing .NET APIs and proven experience as a Software Developer with a focus on .NET 8.0 development.
• Experience leading a small to mid-size team is required.
• Candidates should have experience in the Financial Technology space, with hands-on knowledge of a major financial system API such as Stripe, PayPal, Tipalti, or Dwolla.
• An understanding of Open API 3.1 specifications and experience writing web-based applications that consume APIs from the browser is necessary.
• Experience with Entity Framework, Microsoft SQL Server, query tuning, and proper schema design is required.
• Candidates must be able to follow existing coding standards and have experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools.
• Understanding how to build robust systems and the role of monitoring, alerting, and operations in a high-transaction environment is essential.
• Experience with Azure and working with Azure products to provide web services and websites to public internet customers is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address complex issues related to SDK development and integration are required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Applicants must provide a URL to a public-facing API they have worked on within the last year.
