The position is remote and is a contract role.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of overall software product development experience.
A minimum of 5 years of experience with a very strong conceptual understanding of Elasticsearch is required.
Experience with high-performance, low-latency, large data reporting applications is essential.
Candidates should have experience designing and facilitating complex queries and reporting strategies.
A current understanding of a variety of modern technologies is necessary.
Experience with REST-based web services, including building both services and clients, is required.
Candidates must have experience with high-performance multi-threaded ETL and data access.
A strong understanding of the software development process, including code organization, test-driven development, and unit testing, is required.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of source control, specifically Git branching strategies.
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD environments is necessary.
Candidates must be comfortable architecting and designing large-scale systems, focusing on scalability, high performance, low latency, and high throughput.
