Remote Sr. Python Developer

Description:

• The Sr. Python Developer will build and maintain high-quality software solutions, utilizing AI tools to generate, refine, and optimize code.
• The role involves using LLMs and automation tools to accelerate all aspects of the development lifecycle.
• The developer will use AI tools like Cursor to auto-generate code from requirements, focusing on refining and optimizing rather than starting from scratch.
• The position requires helping transition from no-code platforms to scalable, production-ready solutions.
• The developer will work asynchronously with global teams, participate in daily check-ins, and proactively manage blockers.
• Identifying and implementing best practices to improve software performance, maintainability, and efficiency is essential.
• The role includes evaluating trade-offs, analyzing different approaches, and providing solutions that balance quality with development speed.
• The developer must meet agreed-upon timelines while maintaining high-quality standards, with a focus on efficient execution.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Python and backend development with Django.
• A strong enthusiasm for using AI/LLMs to accelerate software development and solve engineering challenges is required.
• Experience leveraging production tools and templates to minimize boilerplate code and improve efficiency is necessary.
• The ability to design scalable software solutions and transition from no-code to fully developed applications is essential.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate different approaches and make informed technical decisions are required.
• Candidates must be comfortable working independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate across different time zones are necessary.
• A passion for using LLMs to accelerate all aspects of software development is expected.
• Experience with the AWS platform is a plus.
• Experience in React and Vue is also a plus.
