Remote Sr React Engineer

Description:

• 10Pearls is seeking a Sr React Engineer for a fully remote position available in select LATAM countries including Peru, Colombia, Honduras, Costa Rica, Mexico, Argentina, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.
• The role involves leading the development of greenfield projects from inception to completion.
• Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable React applications.
• The engineer will integrate React applications with legacy systems and ensure smooth transitions.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and project managers, is essential to deliver high-quality products.
• The position requires providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications is a key responsibility.
• The engineer will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth delivery and deployment of features.
• Performing code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices is also required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years focusing on React.
• Strong expertise in React, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern front-end development practices is required.
• Proven experience in developing greenfield projects from concept to delivery is necessary.
• Hands-on experience in integrating React applications with existing systems and legacy architectures is essential.
• Proficiency in state management libraries like Redux or Context API is required.
• Familiarity with front-end build pipelines and tools such as Webpack, Babel, and NPM is necessary.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL integration is required.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira) is essential.
• A strong understanding of unit testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha is required.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is necessary.
