Description:

  • The Senior Sales Engineer position at Motive involves actively contributing to increasing effectiveness, productivity, and revenue growth in the Sales Team.
  • Responsibilities include partnering and strategizing with Account Executives for various tasks such as discovery calls, product demonstrations, POC support, and onsite meetings.
  • The role requires providing customized demonstrations of the Motive product to prospects, matching customer needs with solutions, and being an expert on Motive's competition.
  • The Senior Sales Engineer will also work on RFIs and RFPs, act as a sales liaison between internal departments, and stay updated on Motive's product roadmap.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales/sales engineering role, with a preference for SaaS and Hardware experience.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated success in selling complex solutions and familiarity with the Transportation & Logistics industry.
  • Experience with APIs and integrations.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required, with a Bachelor’s of Science preferred, and a Master's degree is a plus.
