Description:

EarnIn is seeking a passionate Senior Security Engineer to drive security engineering efforts within the Information Security organization.
The position is remote and offers a US base salary range of $186,300 - $227,700, along with equity and benefits.
Responsibilities include monitoring active threats, analyzing them, and devising remediation plans.
The engineer will monitor, audit, detect, and remediate critical security exposures in infrastructure.
The role requires becoming a recognized security expert in multiple specialty areas and responding to all security incidents while managing the end-to-end incident response lifecycle.
The engineer will implement security technical and process improvements and automate security tasks such as audit, metrics collection, and reporting.
Maintaining awareness of external community events to identify threats and opportunities for enhancement is essential.
The role involves working cross-functionally with engineering teams to architect secure solutions and evaluating, testing, implementing, and supporting third-party security tools.

Requirements:

A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is desired.
Candidates should have 6+ years of industry experience.
Proficiency in AWS is required.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is mandatory.
Knowledge of any programming language, preferably Python, is necessary.
In-depth knowledge of Threat/Intrusion Detection, Vulnerability Management, and remediation techniques is required.
Experience with enterprise access solutions such as Okta, Onelogin, and Ping Identity is essential.
Familiarity with endpoint zero trust and DLP solutions is needed.
Security orchestration, automation, and response experience is a plus.
Hands-on experience with security log management tools and familiarity with big data tools for log analysis is advantageous.
Terraform experience is a plus.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks including ISO 27001, SOX, PCI, SOC2, and NIST is required.
Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
