Remote Sr. Shopify Backend Developer

Description:

• We are looking for a talented Senior Back-end Developer to join our dynamic team.
• This is a full-time position that requires working during East Standard Time (EST) hours.
• The role will involve supporting the team with backend development tasks.
• Responsibilities include documenting and evaluating any downstream impacts to business processes resulting from new features released on Shopify POS.
• You will collaborate with product owners on the client team to collect requirements for customizations, if necessary.
• You will also collaborate with data engineers on the client team to assess impacts to data flows of downstream systems, if necessary.
• Collaboration with architects to assess impacts to payload and performance of new features will be part of your duties.
• You will maintain the calendar and release schedule for new features.

Requirements:

• You must have 5+ years of experience as a Backend Application Developer on web applications.
• A working knowledge of Shopify POS is required.
• Education: A degree or certification in software development is necessary.
• You must be fluent in writing and speaking in English.
• Great cross-functional communication skills are essential.
• You should have the ability to function at a high level within a highly productive delivery environment.
• Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset are required.
