The Sr. Site Reliability Engineer will work closely with Infrastructure and Platform teams to integrate best practice monitoring into applications.
Responsibilities include developing high-quality runbooks for incident management and building visualizations and alerting systems for system performance.
The role involves managing and optimizing infrastructure using tools like Terraform, GitHub CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
The engineer will respond to incidents, troubleshoot production issues, and implement automation to streamline operational processes.
Proactive identification of potential issues and collaboration with development teams to ensure robust applications are key aspects of the role.
Contributions will focus on scaling monitoring infrastructure and enhancing system reliability for seamless user experiences.
Requirements:
Proficiency in visualizing, monitoring, and alerting on telemetry data using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus/Mimir, OpenSearch, and Sentry.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar technologies for containerization and infrastructure management.
A minimum of 5 years of professional programming experience in Python, Go, Java, or similar languages.
Proficiency in Linux and Unix Shell.
Excellent collaboration and asynchronous communication skills are essential.
Commitment to thorough documentation to streamline learning and processes.
A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards identifying and fixing issues is required.
Ability to deliver quickly, iterate fast, and adapt to changing requirements.
Proficiency in using Git/GitHub for version control.

The salary range for this position is $145,000-$200,000 plus equity, with adjustments based on qualifications and experience.
