Remote Sr. Site Reliability Engineer, DRE

Description:

• The Sr. Site Reliability Engineer at Pismo will be part of the Data Reliability Engineering squad responsible for building, evolving, and operating BigData tools, products, and services.
• Responsibilities include building, maintaining, and evolving cloud-native and containerized infrastructure, hosting and integrating data products and services, and providing support to other squads to increase platform maturity.
• The role involves participating in multidisciplinary projects with a focus on the availability, security, and scalability of Data environments.
• Technologies applied include AWS services, Spark, Flink, Python, Airflow, relational databases (PostgreSQL and MySQL), AWS, Codefresh, ArgoCD, Grafana, Honeycomb, Kubernetes, Terraform, Go, Python, Shell Script, Prometheus, and Istio.

Requirements:

• B1 English (Intermediate) proficiency is required.
• Experience with Cloud environments is necessary.
• Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines is a must.
• Knowledge of at least 2 Observability tools is required.
• Experience with Terraform and Shell Script or any other automation language is essential.
• Desirable experience with relational databases (preferably MySQL or Postgres), network management, and Linux server management and troubleshooting.
