The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will collaborate with development and quality engineering teams to build and maintain the continuous integration pipeline from development to production.
Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The role involves developing automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources.
The engineer will implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure performance, availability, and security of cloud environments.
The position requires optimizing resource utilization and cost efficiency through continuous monitoring and analysis.
Staying current with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing, DevOps, and infrastructure automation is essential.
Participation in the resolution of production incidents and contributing to post-mortem analysis is expected.
The role is remote-first and can be performed from anywhere in India.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience is required.
A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or related roles is necessary.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Bash, Python, and Go are essential.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is required.
Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is necessary.
Experience with automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Ansible/Chef is required.
A solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud-native architectures is essential.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is necessary.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar is necessary.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies is required.
Knowledge of security practices and standards in cloud environments is essential.
Familiarity with SLI, SLO, SLA, and Error Budget concepts is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure are required.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps/SRE practices is necessary.
Excellent documentation skills are required.
