Description:

The Sr. Site Reliability Engineer will design and implement sustainable solutions that align with business goals and technical standards.
This role involves building, deploying, and supporting robust CI/CD pipeline automation tailored to account-specific and organizational needs.
The engineer will participate in the design, deployment, and operational support of cloud, containerized, and on-premise platforms.
The position requires developing secure, scalable, and maintainable infrastructure solutions for both internal teams and external clients.
Monitoring service health and performance using SLI/SLO metrics is essential, along with proactively responding to incidents to ensure SLAs are met.
The engineer will contribute to planning, team structure, project management activities, and support initiatives.
Actively committing code and collaborating with team members to continuously improve system reliability and delivery speed is a key responsibility.

Requirements:

Candidates must possess 4+ years of professional experience in site reliability engineering or similar DevOps roles.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git and Pull Requests is required.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, Ruby, PHP, or Shell scripting is necessary.
Experience working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or CircleCI is essential.
A solid understanding of AWS cloud services and Kubernetes orchestration is required.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform is necessary.
Candidates should be familiar with monitoring and alerting tools like New Relic, Pingdom, or PagerDuty.
Knowledge of the twelve-factor app methodology for building scalable SaaS applications is important.
Strong command-line skills, including shell scripting and regular expressions, are required.
Effective communication and collaboration skills within teams are essential.

The salary range for this position is Rs 2000000 - Rs 3000000 (INR 20-30 LPA).
This is a full-time remote position based in India, offering flexibility in work location.
