Description:
The Identity Center of Excellence team is seeking an experienced senior resource with over 5 years of experience in Java development to build enterprise cloud applications.
This role involves collaborating with multiple Business Units and development teams to gather requirements, architecture, design, and implement solutions.
The candidate should possess in-depth knowledge and experience in technologies such as the AWS cloud platform and services, as well as security standards like oAuth 2.0, Open ID, SAML 2.0, and SSO.
Responsibilities include acting as a Subject Matter Expert in the Identity CoE, gathering requirements, and implementing secure and scalable cloud applications using Java and Python on AWS.
The role requires working in an agile-SCRUM environment with architects, developers, and testers.
The candidate must effectively communicate and present ideas and designs while incorporating feedback.
Implementation of microservices and integration of REST APIs with the UI using Angular technologies is required.
The role includes providing troubleshooting support for production issues and documenting architecture design artifacts.
The candidate will coach junior developers and train operational teams as needed.
A good understanding of various integration patterns to connect legacy backend systems with modern applications developed using Microservices Architecture is essential.
The position requires an individual contributor who can complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision and has the ability to learn new technologies and complete Proof-of-Concept (POC) and MVP releases in a timely manner.
Designing and implementing solutions that comply with non-functional requirements such as logging, monitoring, alerting, security, and auditability is necessary.
The candidate should be process-oriented and able to identify and implement opportunities for improvement in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Working knowledge of on-premise cloud-based infrastructures, deployments, configurations, and best practices is required.
Experience in Agile and/or SAFe development methodologies in cross-functional teams is necessary.
Proven experience in CI-CD pipelines using tools and frameworks such as Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, and AWS tools is essential.
Strong DevOps experience and automation skills using Terraform are desired.
The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and achieve results amidst constraints.
A deep understanding of best design and software engineering practices, design principles, and patterns is required.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience with Java, Python, and SQL is required.
Strong experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and event-driven architecture is necessary.
At least 3 years of experience with AWS cloud platforms and services such as EKS, MSK, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and DynamoDB is required.
Expertise with API Gateways such as APIGEE and AWS API Gateway is essential.
Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, and other build deployment platforms is required.
Angular experience is desirable.
Experience using Okta as an Identity Provider, as well as SAML, OpenID/oAuth, and SSO is necessary.
Strong experience in RDBMS and SQL is required.
Hands-on experience with DevOps automation and Terraform is desirable.
Hands-on experience with application security and risk management is necessary.
