Description:

LogiSense is seeking a Sr. Software Developer to join their team and work on technology related to monetizing IoT, Communications, and XaaS products and services for Enterprise customers.
The Sr. Software Developer will be a key member of the Engineering team, contributing to building and enhancing LogiSense's industry-leading usage-based billing platform.
The role involves working with Node.js microservices for processing incoming transaction data.
Responsibilities include applying experience in web development, integrating with RESTful APIs, implementing automated tests, developing for the AWS platform, and optimizing web architecture best practices.
The Sr. Software Developer will be responsible for delivering new platform features, providing effort estimates, communicating technical decisions, mentoring team members, and driving technical standards and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of professional web development experience and a post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
Extensive experience in delivering scalable enterprise web applications with Node.js.
Extensive experience in integrating with RESTful APIs and implementing automated unit and functional tests.
Solid experience in developing software for the AWS platform and optimizing performance.
Strong understanding of web architecture best practices and the ability to decompose high-level requirements into development tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and provide/receive constructive feedback.
Familiarity with Docker, RabbitMQ, SPA application frameworks, and client-side JavaScript is a bonus.
