Remote Sr. Software Developer– Security & Container Optimization

• We are seeking an experienced Sr. Software Developer to join our dynamic team, focusing on security and container optimization initiatives.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python, experience integrating with front-end systems, and a solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with scanning tools is considered a bonus.
• Active Public Trust/ Secret clearance or higher preferred.
• Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies to optimize container environments (Docker/Kubernetes) with an emphasis on security best practices.
• The role involves writing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Python code that integrates with front-end applications and other systems.
• The candidate will collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between back-end services and user-facing applications.
• The position requires designing and implementing container orchestration solutions, ensuring robust performance, security, and scalability of containerized applications.
• The developer will integrate and, where possible, automate the use of scanning and vulnerability detection tools to maintain a secure container ecosystem.
• Participation in code reviews, providing mentorship to junior developers, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and optimized solutions is expected.
• The candidate will maintain comprehensive documentation of design decisions, code, and processes related to security and container management.
