Description:

Coupa is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to complex projects and initiatives.
The role involves delivering quality software within timelines and collaborating with other engineers.
Responsibilities include hands-on design and development of enterprise products, maintaining and scaling Coupa’s platform systems and services, and participating in operational design and code reviews.
The engineer will architect and develop major areas of Coupa's SaaS products and find creative solutions to complex problems.
The position requires being a good team player and advocating best practices such as unit testing, automation testing, and code quality.
Continuous improvement of core applications, features, processes, and business is expected.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of software development experience, preferably with Ruby on Rails.
Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills are required.
Experience in building REST APIs and microservices is necessary.
A good understanding of common design patterns is essential.
Proficiency in React.js (or a similar JavaScript framework) and CSS is required.
Knowledge of MySQL and general database performance and optimization is needed.
Experience with technical mentoring or teaching others is a plus.
