Description:

The Sr. Software Engineer role is a Contract to Hire position focused on developing and maintaining robust, scalable software solutions using the .NET framework.
This position requires a deep understanding of software development principles and hands-on experience in .NET technologies.
The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing applications that meet business needs.
Strong collaboration with both technical and business teams is essential to ensure the delivery of high-quality software aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities include collaborating with developers and stakeholders, designing and deploying REST APIs using .NET Core and microservices architecture, writing clean and reliable code, and continuously improving software development processes.
The engineer must explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and provide insightful code review critiques.
Keeping up with new software technologies and effectively managing time with accurate task estimates are also required.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience is required.
Proficiency in .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful API development is necessary.
A strong understanding of object-oriented programming and client-server models is essential.
Experience with third-party APIs and automation is required.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps is necessary.
Experience using Git for version control and code reviews is required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
The ability to work collaboratively in the Eastern Time Zone (EST) is required.

The position offers the flexibility of remote work from home.
Work hours are generally Monday through Friday, with specific hours depending on client needs.
