The Sr. Software Engineer will solve synchronization and load issues of our distributed API.
The role involves creating and optimizing relational data queries in collaboration with data specialists.
The engineer will implement effective scheduled data processing tasks using the internal Routines framework.
Responsibilities include generating properly tagged log data and analyzing it with Elasticsearch.
The position requires the use of cloud-based AWS tools and Prometheus/Grafana monitoring.
The engineer will enrich the knowledge base in Notion with new details and articles.
The role includes learning about international shipping and dealing with popular e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Bigcommerce, and Magento.
The engineer will understand clients’ pain points and needs, collaborating directly with some clients to ensure their success.
The position is part of a supportive team that helps with adaptation, improvement, and coping with failures.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of software development experience.
A college degree in a technical field is required.
Proficiency in English reading and writing is necessary.
Expertise in TypeScript, NodeJS, Express & Nest frameworks, MySQL, Redis, Git, and Elasticsearch is essential.
Experience in building distributed cloud-based REST API web services is required.
Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with other teams.
Transparency and accuracy in task management are important.
Fast adaptation to existing code styles, practices, and conventions is expected, along with the ability to actively participate in their continuous review and improvement.
The role requires work autonomy, with the skill to improve processes with little guidance while clarifying any questionable points.
