Remote Sr. Software Engineer

Description:

• First is a venture-backed startup creating digital products to assist consumers in creating legal agreements. The team comprises former Google and Meta executives and legal experts from prestigious institutions like Yale, NYU, and UCLA Law.
• They are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join their team. The role involves developing and maintaining web applications using Vue.js/Nuxt, Typescript, and Ruby on Rails.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with the product team, writing high-quality code, optimizing web application performance, participating in code reviews, and staying updated with the latest web development trends.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Vue.js and Typescript is required, along with experience in relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Knowledge of web development principles, RESTful APIs, MVC, web security, front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), Agile methodologies, and tools like Git, Linear, and Trello is necessary.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
