As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an autonomous contributor to your delivery team.
You will develop product features, enhancements, and technical improvements throughout the platform.
The role involves investigating and troubleshooting complex issues within your team’s technical domain.
You will provide engineering leadership in sprint meetings, estimate stories, and raise awareness of implementation details.
You will take an active role in the development, release, and monitoring of systems in production.
Mentoring and assisting engineers, participating in code reviews, and identifying strategies to resolve technical debt are key responsibilities.
The core tech stack includes TypeScript, NodeJS/NestJS, React Native, GraphQL, Python/Django, AWS, PostgreSQL, Redis, CircleCI, Spinnaker, DataDog, and Retool.

Requirements:

Hands-on production level experience with Postgres and building scalable solutions is required.
Experience in managing data and designing platforms to serve business and clients is necessary.
Deep knowledge in JavaScript, Typescript, React/React Native, NestJS, and NodeJS is essential.
Excellent and pragmatic testing practices are expected.
Experience with deployment pipelines (CI/CD) and microservice architecture is required.
A proven track record of team leadership and mentorship is necessary.
Skill at partnering cross-functionally across the organization is important.
The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements and priorities is essential.
A background in or passion for working in health services is preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $160,000-180,000 annually for applicants in CA or NY, and $150,000-170,000 for those outside these states.
