Remote Sr Software Engineer

Description:

• The Sr Software Engineer will be responsible for building Health and Safety applications for Fortune 500 companies.
• The role involves working with a team of developers to innovate, create features, and design architecture for powerful applications.
• Responsibilities include enhancing the ServiceNow Platform with interactive web-based application UIs, evolving existing User Interfaces, creating tools and frameworks for developers, and collaborating with UX designers and back-end developers.
• The Sr Software Engineer will participate in design discussions, provide code reviews, guide junior team members, and ensure outstanding customer experience.
• The position offers the opportunity to work with modern technologies such as mobile, UI componentry, Generative AI, workflow & automation, and developer tools & IDE.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience with JavaScript and frontend/fullstack development.
• Passion for the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization.
• Experience with Java or other OO languages, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
• Familiarity with modern UI frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.
• Analytical and design skills with the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Ability to manage projects with technical risk at a team level and guide team members to success.
