Description:
RecargaPay is seeking a Senior Software Engineer based in Argentina for a remote position.
The company is a Super App simplifying everyday payments for consumers and SMEs in Brazil.
The platform serves over 6 million Brazilians by consolidating various payment methods like credit and debit cards, Pix, and Open Finance.
RecargaPay aims to democratize mobile payments and financial services in Brazil by offering services such as bill payments, mobile top-ups, public transportation, installment plans, and loans.
The role involves writing efficient code, contributing to all development phases, maintaining software documentation, and supporting continuous improvement.
Responsibilities also include mentoring team members, solving technical problems, identifying innovation opportunities, and guiding architectural changes.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience, a degree in Computer Science or related field, and expertise in web applications, relational databases, Object-Oriented Programming, Domain Driven Design, and Microservice Architecture.
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, AWS, asynchronous programming, and performance tuning is required.
Requirements:
Minimum 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience.
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject.
Experience in medium complexity domains.
Understanding of web applications, security, session management, and best development practices.
Knowledge of relational databases, Object-Oriented Programming, Domain Driven Design, and Microservice Architecture.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies.
Proven ability to design complex distributed applications for high performance and scalability.
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, AWS, and asynchronous programming.
Experience in profiling and performance tuning Java applications.
