Description:

• RecargaPay is seeking a Senior Software Engineer based in Argentina for a remote position.
• The company is a Super App simplifying everyday payments for consumers and SMEs in Brazil.
• The platform serves over 6 million Brazilians by consolidating various payment methods like credit and debit cards, Pix, and Open Finance.
• RecargaPay aims to democratize mobile payments and financial services in Brazil by offering services such as bill payments, mobile top-ups, public transportation, installment plans, and loans.
• The role involves writing efficient code, contributing to all development phases, maintaining software documentation, and supporting continuous improvement.
• Responsibilities also include mentoring team members, solving technical problems, identifying innovation opportunities, and guiding architectural changes.
• The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience, a degree in Computer Science or related field, and expertise in web applications, relational databases, Object-Oriented Programming, Domain Driven Design, and Microservice Architecture.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, AWS, asynchronous programming, and performance tuning is required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject.
• Experience in medium complexity domains.
• Understanding of web applications, security, session management, and best development practices.
• Knowledge of relational databases, Object-Oriented Programming, Domain Driven Design, and Microservice Architecture.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies.
• Proven ability to design complex distributed applications for high performance and scalability.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, AWS, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience in profiling and performance tuning Java applications.
