Description:

• RecargaPay is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Back-end development for their remote position in Brazil.

• The platform consolidates various payment methods like credit and debit cards, Pix, and Open Finance to democratize mobile payments and financial services.

Responsibilities:

• Write efficient, testable code following best software development practices.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle and maintain software documentation.
• Investigate and present alternative technologies for architectural review to support continuous improvement.
• Mentor and provide guidance to other team members, solving technical problems of high scope and complexity.
• Identify innovation opportunities, propose technical implementations, and guide collaboration within the team.
• Showcase the sub-department's work and its business impact internally.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in engineering roles.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Ability to handle medium complexity domains and understand web application workings, security, and best practices.
• Proficiency in relational databases, Object-Oriented Programming, Domain Driven Design, and knowledge of Microservice Architecture.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, AWS, asynchronous programming, and performance tuning.
• Capability to design complex distributed applications for high performance, scalability, and reliability.
