The role of Sr. Software Engineer - Backend involves creating and improving Python and Java-based microservices.
Responsibilities include leading the design, development, and deployment of critical APIs and services, collaborating with data science, product management, design, and behavioral health specialists, and promoting best practices in software development.
The position can be performed remotely within the United States or from the Burlingame, CA headquarters.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required.
Candidates must have 6+ years of experience developing enterprise or consumer web applications using Python and Java/Spring.
Experience in developing and deploying web applications is necessary.
Strong experience in building scalable REST APIs is required.
Candidates should be highly proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $142,000 - $196,000, with placement depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
