Remote Sr. Software Engineer, Backend - Engagement Team

Description:

• Henry Meds is a company dedicated to helping Americans manage chronic conditions with specialized compounded formulas tailored to individual patient needs.
• The Sr. Software Engineer, Backend will take ownership of entire sections of the backend, validate technologies, collaborate across teams, mentor other developers, and improve engineering standards.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience building production software systems and be familiar with backend technologies like RESTful or GraphQL APIs, Application Security, Data Security/Compliance, and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with Postgres, cloud-based web applications, and cloud solutions (e.g. AWS, GCP) is required.
• Nice to have skills include working in startups, Healthcare/Telehealth, and HIPPA compliance.
• The current tech stack includes .NET Core, Node.js, PostgreSQL, GraphQL (Hasura), Docker, and GCP.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience building successful production software systems.
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as RESTful or GraphQL APIs, Application Security, Data Security/Compliance, and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with Postgres or similar database technology.
• Experience with cloud-based web applications and complex data models.
• Experience implementing cloud solutions like AWS, GCP.
• Nice to have skills include working in startups, Healthcare/Telehealth, and HIPPA compliance.
