Description:

The position is for a Senior Software Engineer who will work remotely.
The role involves designing and developing advanced functionality for a FinTech back-office restaurant accounting software.
Responsibilities include reviewing user requirements, architecting solutions, and implementing high-quality code that adheres to best practices.
The engineer will complete quality assurance on implemented solutions to ensure stability.
The role requires fulfilling stakeholders' needs and ensuring satisfaction through user acceptance testing (UAT).
The engineer will assist with code releases, including rollout and testing.
Mentorship and guidance will be provided to junior team members.
The position requires working independently as a full stack developer with minimal technical support after onboarding.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 8 years of professional software development experience, with expertise in C# and JavaScript.
Strong expertise in relational databases, preferably SQL Server, including design, optimization, and query development is required.
A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with cloud-based systems such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is necessary.
Proven experience in designing, building, and deploying scalable and maintainable software applications is essential.
A solid understanding of software architecture principles and best practices in cloud computing and distributed systems is required.
Knowledge of restaurant or FinTech-related software is a strong advantage.
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-based architectures is necessary.
Knowledge of Agile or Scrum development methodologies is preferred.
Candidates must have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A collaborative mindset with the capability to work effectively in cross-functional teams is essential.
