Description:

• RecargaPay is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialized in Checkout to simplify everyday payments for consumers and SMEs in Brazil.
• The platform consolidates credit and debit cards, instant payments like Pix, and Open Finance to streamline payments for over 7 million Brazilians.
• Services offered include bill payments, mobile top-ups, public transportation, installment plans, and loans, focusing on convenience, low cost, and flexibility.
• The role involves writing efficient, testable code, contributing to all development phases, maintaining software documentation, and supporting continuous improvement.
• Responsibilities also include mentoring other team members, solving technical problems, identifying innovation opportunities, and proposing technical implementations for architectural changes.

Requirements:

• Hands-on engineering experience required.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in medium complexity domains.
• Solid understanding of web applications, security, session management, and best development practices.
• Knowledge of relational database systems, Object-Oriented Programming, Domain Driven Design, and Microservice Architecture.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, AWS, asynchronous programming, and performance tuning.
• Demonstrated experience in designing complex distributed applications for high performance, scalability, and reliability.
