Description:
RecargaPay is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialized in Checkout to simplify everyday payments for consumers and SMEs in Brazil.
The platform consolidates credit and debit cards, instant payments like Pix, and Open Finance to streamline payments for over 7 million Brazilians.
Services offered include bill payments, mobile top-ups, public transportation, installment plans, and loans, focusing on convenience, low cost, and flexibility.
The role involves writing efficient, testable code, contributing to all development phases, maintaining software documentation, and supporting continuous improvement.
Responsibilities also include mentoring other team members, solving technical problems, identifying innovation opportunities, and proposing technical implementations for architectural changes.
Requirements:
Hands-on engineering experience required.
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience in medium complexity domains.
Solid understanding of web applications, security, session management, and best development practices.
Knowledge of relational database systems, Object-Oriented Programming, Domain Driven Design, and Microservice Architecture.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies.
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, AWS, asynchronous programming, and performance tuning.
Demonstrated experience in designing complex distributed applications for high performance, scalability, and reliability.
