Description:
Sonatus, a well-funded and fast-growing company, is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (Contract) to join their team in Toronto, Canada (Remote).
The company specializes in technologies and software for automakers to build software-defined vehicles, with solutions already deployed globally.
The role involves designing and implementing complex in-vehicle software, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the full software development life cycle.
Responsibilities include writing clean code, enhancing system efficiency, and participating in QA testing events.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5 years of experience in software development, with proficiency in C++ and experience with embedded systems and automotive communication protocols.
Hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets, system design involving multi-threading, and experience with modern IPC frameworks.
Familiarity with networking technologies, RTOS, Embedded Linux, Android, and other embedded operating systems.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
