Description:
Vimeo is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for the Customer Solutions, Video Pro team, located in New York, NY or available for remote work.
The role involves designing and engineering professional-grade video tools for creators, focusing on user experience, performance, and scalability.
Responsibilities include building and enhancing solutions for video professionals, collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to launch key projects, defining and iterating on the technical roadmap, identifying opportunities for architectural improvements, and mentoring other engineers.
The team owns the full technical stack, from APIs to frontend UI, aimed at driving viewer engagement, improving monetization tools, and fostering collaboration and community.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of technical experience working on consumer-facing products.
Experience in full-stack web development is required, including creating frontend interfaces, building and maintaining APIs, and optimizing database transactions.
An interest in working on large-scale systems to enhance product speed, scalability, and fault tolerance is essential.
A strong eye for product design and interactivity, along with unwavering attention to detail, is necessary for this position.
Benefits:
The targeted base salary range for this position is $127,800 to $196,000, depending on various factors such as experience and skills.
