Description:

Dstillery is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in distributed systems to design and implement large-scale, fault-tolerant systems primarily in Java and write big-data ETL jobs.
The role involves contributing to the creation of Dstillery’s data-driven custom audiences while working hands-on with coding and influencing the overall direction of the platform alongside engineering managers.
Responsibilities include providing technical leadership, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining documentation for scalable, distributed systems.

Requirements:

Candidates must have extensive experience of 6+ years in delivering high-quality software solutions and hands-on experience in designing production systems.
Applicants should have designed, built, broken, and rebuilt APIs at scale using Java, C++, Go, or .Net, with a focus on large-scale systems beyond CRUD REST APIs.
Interest in working with technologies such as Java for applications, Python for ETL, Apache Kafka, MySQL, Spark, Hive, ScyllaDB, Airflow, Terraform, and Google Cloud Platform solutions is required.
