Description:

LogicGate is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Front-End to lead, architect, and develop features for their Risk Cloud platform.
The role requires a deep understanding of business and engineering goals, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
The ideal candidate will inspire cross-functional collaboration, working closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and QA professionals.
Responsibilities include advocating for modern best practices in engineering, implementing a testing-first mindset, and ensuring scalable, maintainable solutions.
The position involves hands-on development balanced with architectural leadership, strong communication skills, and clear documentation for features and processes.
Daily tasks will include developing with Angular and TypeScript, writing tests, reviewing code, collaborating using Agile methodologies, and optimizing the front-end application for speed, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements:

Candidates should have significant (6+ years) professional experience in software engineering or a Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field.
A desire to grow as a leader, architect, and coder in a fast-paced engineering environment is essential.
Understanding of best practices and competency in one or more modern programming languages is required; training will be provided for languages not in the current stack.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, plus variable compensation and equity.
