Remote Sr. Software Engineer, Frontend

Description:

• Hims & Hers Health, Inc. is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer, Frontend to assist in creating a seamless telemedicine end-user experience.
• The role involves collaborating with backend and quality engineers to develop code for hims.com and forhers.com.
• Responsibilities include building engaging user interfaces, analyzing SEO data, executing SEO strategies, and optimizing website architecture for improved search rankings.
• The position also entails leading technical SEO audits, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring code quality through thorough reviews.
• The candidate will participate in retrospectives, drive continuous improvement, and maintain detailed documentation of code and processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer with a track record of shipping production code.
• At least 3 years of hands-on SEO experience with a proven success record.
• Proficiency in React, HTML5, Javascript, Typescript, CSS3/SASS, and strong understanding of CSS, design principles, and responsive design.
• Deep knowledge of search algorithms, ranking strategies, SEO tools, and analytical platforms like Amplitude and Google Tag Manager.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively.
