Description:
- Build products that enhance the post-purchase experience for leading retail brands
- Own the architecture of new product platforms and extend existing ones
- Write high-quality, modular, and extendible code
- Advocate for best practices in system design, coding, performance, and testing
- Develop highly concurrent and distributed systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable plans
- Mentor junior engineers on design, coding, and troubleshooting
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of backend development/end-to-end product development experience
- Hands-on experience in architecture, design, and development of enterprise applications and data infrastructure
- Proficiency in designing, developing, debugging, and operating resilient distributed systems
- Experience managing large, complex systems in the cloud
- Track record of delivering efficient, scalable, reliable, and maintainable customer-facing systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Expertise in server-side languages like Java, Python, Go, Scala, Rust
- Experience with RESTful APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, cloud computing platforms, Containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools
- Previous startup experience preferred
