Description:
LTK is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Kubernetes expertise to join its Platform team.
The role involves building and maintaining LTK’s cloud infrastructure and development platform.
Responsibilities include delivering services and libraries such as automation, configuration management, monitoring, identity management, and event orchestration.
The engineer will partner with software development teams to ensure maximum uptime and scalability while delivering features securely and consistently.
Key tasks include building developer-facing tooling, defining scalable service paths, gathering requirements, providing guidance, and improving scrum team processes.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of software development experience.
Experience in building developer platforms/frameworks for companies beyond the start-up stage is required.
Proficiency in migrating workloads onto Kubernetes/EKS is necessary.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is essential.
Experience with AWS systems such as ECS, Lambda, and RDS is required.
Candidates should be proficient in writing services in Go, Python, C++, or Java.
Experience in building scalable internal and public-facing APIs (REST, JSON, HTTP) is necessary.
Knowledge of integrating 3rd party APIs (REST, OAuth) is required.
Expertise in various data storage technologies, including relational and NoSQL databases, is essential.
Candidates should have knowledge of microservices architecture and related technologies.
Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, system monitors, and log aggregation services is required.
Familiarity with agile methods and Scrum or Kanban frameworks is necessary.
Candidates should be comfortable shipping code multiple times per day.
Proven experience in influencing and mentoring other engineering team members is required.
