The Sr Software Engineer (Lending) position at RecargaPay involves making a significant impact on the lives of millions of Brazilians by creating accessible and innovative financial solutions.
The role requires designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable systems that support the company's financial services, ensuring seamless operations and an excellent user experience.
Responsibilities include writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle, and supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
The engineer will propose initial technical implementations to solve scaling and performance problems and will work with version control using GitHub, including conflict resolution and automation of continuous integration processes.
The position also involves creating and maintaining software documentation.

Requirements:

Candidates must have an academic background oriented toward computer science, engineering, or software development disciplines.
Experience in hands-on engineering roles is required, along with the ability to deal with medium domains of medium/high complexity.
A solid understanding of how web applications work, including security, session management, and best development practices, is essential.
Knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming, and Domain Driven Design is necessary; familiarity with Microservice Architecture is a plus.
The candidate should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
Proven ability to design complex distributed applications that are scalable and reliable is required, along with development experience using Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and AWS.
Experience with asynchronous programming and demonstrated experience profiling and performance tuning Java applications is necessary.
Practical experience applying AI frameworks in development projects is also required.
