The role involves building Twingate's network infrastructure and defining a large-scale zero trust solution for seamless and secure access to internal and cloud-based resources.

Responsibilities include designing and building cross-platform, large-scale, secure networking solutions and collaborating closely with the product team and other engineering teams.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong knowledge of computer networking technologies.
A solid understanding of secure coding practices and security engineering is required.
Deep experience in building network solutions such as proxy servers, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, NATs, and QoS is essential.
Extensive hands-on experience with C/C++ is necessary.
Candidates should be comfortable debugging complex systems and tackling difficult issues.
Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Golang, Rust, or Python is considered a major plus.
Contributions to open-source projects are also a significant advantage.

The salary for this position ranges from $170,000 to $220,000 a year.
Equity options are available as part of the compensation package.
