The Senior Platform Engineer will design and build services that power reliable, scalable, and observable cloud deployments.
Responsibilities include building and supporting core infrastructure and platform services, operating production systems, improving observability and automation, mentoring junior engineers, and driving the adoption of engineering best practices.
The ideal candidate enjoys building tools and platforms that enhance productivity, automating tasks, and resolving production issues efficiently.
Collaboration is emphasized through code reviews, pair programming, and continuous feedback, with a focus on reducing friction for internal developer users.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in building and operating production software systems.
Deep experience with at least one modern programming language, preferably Python, Kotlin, or Go, is required.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi, and container orchestration using Kubernetes is necessary.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and software design skills are essential.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent hands-on experience is mandatory.

The position offers a competitive salary of $145,000 plus equity incentives and bonuses.
