Description:

As a Software Engineer III at OpenGov, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing one of the core products in a fast-paced, agile environment to drive the mission of making the world a little better every day by powering key community functions.
Your typical day will involve fixing customer defects, solving complex data issues, monitoring application health, proactively minimizing customer escalations, and implementing enhancements.
Responsibilities include enhancing existing software systems, analyzing and resolving software defects, conducting code reviews, documenting changes, collaborating with various teams, driving continuous improvements, and staying up-to-date with industry trends.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience maintaining and enhancing enterprise software is required.
4+ years of professional experience with PHP, React, and Powerhouse (4GL) is required.
4+ years of experience delivering software using an agile methodology (Scrum preferred) is required.
Being a self-starter with good problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technology is required.

Competitive salary range of $90,000 - $180,000 per year with bonus eligibility.
