Description:
The position is for a Senior Software Engineer on the Provider Access team at Rula, focusing on building software solutions to help therapists onboard onto Rula's system.
The role is fully remote and aims to create a world where mental health is embraced as an integral part of overall well-being.
The engineering team is dedicated to revolutionizing mental healthcare with comprehensive Provider and Patient Portals and is transitioning to a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
The engineer will work across Rula's stack, contributing to product development and driving technical conversations.
The technology stack includes Node.js, Typescript, React, Next.js, and Ruby on Rails, with a focus on UI/UX design and accessibility.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of software engineering experience.
Fullstack experience in building modern database-backed (SQL/No-SQL) web applications is required.
Previous production experience with React, Typescript, or Node.js is necessary.
Experience working directly with product and design teams is essential.
Candidates should have experience managing time-sensitive projects and balancing multiple stakeholders' needs.
Experience driving all phases of the development lifecycle, with an emphasis on the later stages of a project, is required.
Strong frontend engineering specialization is preferred.
A track record of strong ownership and consistent project execution and delivery is desired.
Candidates should possess complex problem-solving skills and a willingness to engage with high complexity and ambiguity.
A collaborative working style with a bias towards helping others grow and giving/receiving feedback is important.
Experience with on-call duties and a willingness to resolve complex issues is preferred.
Candidates should demonstrate self-awareness and a growth mindset.
