Description:

Radformation is seeking a self-motivated Senior Software Engineer with a focus on image analysis to join their innovative and fast-moving team.
The role is fully remote and ideal for someone who wishes to use their coding skills to improve cancer care globally.
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for image analysis related to machine quality assurance (QA) for cancer clinics, including 2D and 3D image sets.
A strong foundation in Python is required, along with experience or interest in image analysis using libraries such as scikit-image, SciPy, and NumPy.
Experience in cloud/web technology is ideal as the application is cloud-based.
The position requires strong software development and leadership skills to design new products for cancer centers.
Candidates should be team players, adaptable to changing environments, open to feedback, proactive in problem-solving, and capable of managing work independently.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of experience is required.
Proficiency in Python, including experience with image analysis tools like scikit-image, SciPy, and NumPy is mandatory.
Proficiency in git and repository management, including CI/CD, is essential.
Preferred experience includes expertise in Javascript, Python, and the Django framework.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or a similar cloud provider is preferred.
Experience with PostgreSQL DB and modern authentication protocols, such as OAUTH2, is advantageous.
Knowledge of modern security requirements for cloud applications, such as OWASP, is also preferred.
