Description:
The Sr. Software Engineer - Scheduling role is a full-time remote position based in the United States.

The Scheduling team is responsible for the core experience that facilitates appointments between patients and providers, which is essential to the business.
Key functionalities include allowing providers to set their availability, managing appointments, and enabling patients to book appointments.
The team will manage Electronic Health Record System (EHR) interactions and ensure Rula is the source of truth for scheduling data.
The role is backend-focused and requires building scalable and reliable systems in a complex healthcare scheduling environment.

The Scheduling team is looking to hire five engineers who enjoy solving complex problems and prioritize team success.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of software engineering experience.
Experience working on cross-functional teams is required.
Candidates should have experience with time-sensitive projects and balancing multiple stakeholders' needs.
Experience in driving all phases of the development lifecycle, including planning, specification, execution, and measuring success, is necessary.
Preferred qualifications include strong engineering fundamentals or a willingness to develop them.
Candidates should possess complex problem-solving skills and the grit to handle high complexity.
A collaborative working style and a bias towards helping team members grow are preferred.
High personal awareness and a growth mindset are encouraged for Software Engineer candidates.
A strong sense of ownership is preferred for Senior Software Engineer candidates.
