Remote Sr. Software Engineer - Treasury

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer for the Treasury team at Lithic will be responsible for maintaining and building backend services that manage the flow of funds between Lithic and third parties, including ledger, ACH, wire infrastructure, and reconciliation.
• The role involves ensuring high reliability and correctness for Lithic’s ledger and funds flows, developing new features for better customer service, and delivering secure, scalable code with minimal tech debt.
• Responsibilities also include leading initiatives from planning to launch, improving systems and processes, strategic planning collaboration, mentoring team members, and participating in the on-call rotation.
• The Treasury team primarily uses Python for their tech stack.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience shipping code in fast-paced production environments.
• Advanced distributed system instincts and design skills.
• Experience in driving large cross-functional projects across engineering, product, and operations teams.
• Commitment to empathy and inclusion, excellent communication skills, and a growth mindset.
• An interest in fintech and the payments space is preferred.
