Description:
The Sr Software Engineer (UX) at NBCUniversal will lead the development of innovative systems and solutions using emerging technologies.
Responsibilities include developing front-end prototypes for proofs of concept, integrating front-end systems with Active Directory and SAML authentication, maintaining code quality through testing, creating documentation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, deploying to cloud platforms, and utilizing tools for code generation.
The position requires expertise in modern JavaScript, front-end frameworks (React preferred), web design principles, responsive design, UI/UX best practices, front-end testing frameworks, code versioning tools, and RESTful services.
Basic understanding of backend technologies, agile development, system architecture visualization, and the ability to bring applications from idea to delivery independently.
Desired characteristics include working in secured network environments, familiarity with conversational AI technologies, adaptability in evolving tech landscapes, effective communication skills, and translating business needs into technical requirements.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in fullstack or front-end development/engineering with a comprehensive portfolio.
Expertise in modern JavaScript, front-end frameworks (React preferred), web design principles, responsive design, UI/UX best practices, and front-end testing frameworks.
Basic understanding of backend technologies, RESTful services, agile development, and system architecture visualization.
Ability to work independently to bring applications from idea to delivery.
Competent in working in secured network environments, familiarity with conversational AI technologies, adaptability in evolving tech landscapes, effective communication skills, and translating business needs into technical requirements.
